Attorney Debra L. Smith has been licensed to practice law in Massachusetts since 1983 and in Colorado since 1992. Ms. Smith was admitted to the U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts and the U.S. Appeals Court in 1984 and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1989. She practices in the District, Superior, Juvenile and Probate and Family courts in Eastern Massachusetts. Ms. Smith is a Justice of the Peace in Massachusetts.

Education

Attorney Smith has a bachelor of science degree from Boston University's School of Education and a juris doctor degree from New England School of Law. She took graduate coursework in health education at the University of Maryland. She has been trained as a Mediator as she took classes in Basic Mediation and Advanced Divorce Mediation in Massachusetts. Attorney Smith has received training in Collaborative Law.

Ms. Smith's photographs were at the Watertown Free Public Library in December 2007 and December 2008 and at the Arlington Center for the Arts at the Tufts Street Community Gallery in February 2010 in shows called "Art of the Seasons."
